Building operational capacity in group setting for member organizations by consolidating principles and regulations on management and organization, reviewing member commitments, maintaining activities; setting up databases and information sharing channel, training on management and organization;, establishing facilities and finances

Strengthening information sharing among member organizations, and between the group and government, agencies through meetings, workshops, fora, and public media, focusing on issues of food security and poverty reduction in order to boost the role of civil society organizations in Vietnam

Assistance in capacity building for organizational development through evaluation and establishment of strategies for member organizations, assistance in implementation

Building capacity in project management, design, and implementation by organizing training courses and field visits for  member staff  to increase quality of service

Helping member organizations boost activities/projects, research; setting up technology transfer models contributing directly into food security and poverty reduction

Support member organizations in evaluation and criticism in management of natural resources, environment, health, and other relevant project activities; presenting results from these activities to government agencies

CIFPEN will follow these 10 strategic directions by making full use of all available resources. CIFPEN will also cooperate with, and call for support from, organizations inside and outside Vietnam to fulfill set objectives and strategic directions.
